Qualification:
Full time Bachelor / Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering from reputed college/University.
Experience:
Minimum 06 to 08 years of experience in the field of Combined Cycle Power Plants and conventional / supercritical thermal power plants preferably from EPC / Consultancy companies that deals with design, proposals/bidding, engineering, procurement and construction activities of a power plant.
Skills & Responsibilities:
He should be able to work in a team and self- driven with good interpersonal & good communication skills. He should be able to work independently and capable of fast decision making / guide team of engineers and handle project engineering activities of multiple projects.
He should be familiar with various equipment like Gas Turbines & auxiliaries, Steam Turbine & Auxiliaries, Boiler/HRSG & auxiliaries and Balance of Plant Equipment?s etc.
The candidate shall be conversant with Indian & International codes and standards like HIS, ASME, HEI, NFPA, etc., He shall have adequate computer knowledge and conversant with Thermo flow software & SPPID is/will be an added advantage.
He should be ready to undertake long term/short term deputations to Mitsubishi Power (MPW)-Japan / Other MPW international offices and also project sites.
The roles and responsibilities include the following for the above systems.
?Review of customer specification and preparation of deviation and clarifications
?Preparation of basic system design.
?Preparation of process schematics & PIDs, HBD?s and Water Balance.
?Equipment sizing calculations like Pumps, Compressors, Heat Exchangers etc.
?Knowledge / experience on Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG) & Boilers.
?Preparation Inquiry/Purchase Spec Preparations.
?Bid Evaluation and selection of vendors.
?Preparation of proposal documents
?Review of vendor drawings
?Vendor management.
?Internal Coordination with various departments like Civil, Electrical, Piping, Instrumentation etc.
?Participating meetings with customer, vendors and consortium partners.
?Coordinate with Vendor and site team during the execution stage.
?Site visit as and when required during erection and commissioning
