?Responsible for Site Stores, Insurance, Security Clearance and Documentation as follows.
?Arranges in good time for facilities and equipment for unloading and storage to ensure smooth and uninterrupted deliveries and issue of material
?Supervises warehouse operations
?Preparation of receiving reports, proper maintenance of stock records and that proper maintenance of material issued
?Collection and maintenance of documents for goods arrived and help Quantity Surveyor / Site Material Manager for compilation of these documents for further usage.
?Keeps safety requirements uppermost in mind in performing all duties within his responsibility
?Sees that materials and equipment are properly cared for in storage
?Checks site requisitions for purchase against stock and previously placed purchase orders to avoid duplication
?Receipt of materials from suppliers and issue to contractors.
?Purchase of petty and emergency items at site.
?Assisting in hand over material to concerned parties, e.g. customer, as per contract.
?Shall help the Quantity Surveyor / Site Material Manager for insurance related issues etc. at site.
?Coordinate with customer for security clearances etc.
