JOB DESCRIPTION - Project Coordinator


PositionProject Coordinator


No of Posts:  2No. (Each 01  for Project)

Any Degree from reputed College/University with 10-15 years’ Having executed EPC Projects as Coordinator for Coal fired /Gas fired Power projects for packages like Civil & mechanical /Electrical in India.

Should be good project expeditor & support the project management in all aspects.

Shall possess extensive knowledge/experience on Project commercial requirements, Procurements follow up,

The candidate shall possess good knowledge on understanding all the components of Power plant Equipment’s, ID fan’s, Tanks Generator, Boiler, Chimney stack and auxiliary equipment.

Worked in Projects for installation FGD /SCR would be added advantage,


He will be reporting to the Project Manager.


Key Tech Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Should be conversant on scope study and contract document related to project requirements,
  • Should Understand project schedule & WBS-for the Project execution, To co-ordinate With project scheduler for the detailed project schedule
  • Having knowledge in Primavera / MS Project would be advantage.
  • Should maintain close coordination with Engineering, procurement, Contracts team, site management and sub-contractors.
  • Reporting the clear inputs to all discipline engineering/ Construction team and also with Procurement based on the construction sequence and priorities.
  • Addressing project management plan & reporting the actual’s, Should be key person in project presentation, & reports.
  • Follow up on material status from head office ,coordination for all Site interface with the respective engg team & site execution team.
  • Follow up for project deliverables, subsequent invoicing of supply / execution.
  • Should be able to do the Cost management /Risk management reports in coordination with contract & accounting team.
  • Reports preparation on behalf of project management to Customer & management.
  • Initiation/coordination for the internal meetings and discuss the key areas of concerns, Recording the entire MOM related to customer/Contractor and site review meetings, follow-up on the committed schedules.
  • Ensuring Document deliveries on time & close follow up
  • Reporting on the project backlogs to the management and do proper follow-up with all concerns.

Soft Skills:


  • Shall be able to write in English and Speak in English.
  • Collaborating/liaison with all process Eng. PIC’s, Procurement & Site management on behalf of project management.
  • Co-ordination & representing Project management with internal & external agencies during the execution of project.
  • Communicate properly with all respective stack holder’s & to get resolved with any potential miscommunication or other deviations on project plan and schedule.
  • Should keep the company secrets as per company policy.
  • Establish strong working relationship with wide range of people.
  • Well organized and capable of meeting deadlines and to work on longer hours.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft projects, MS office is a mandatory.
